๐The Card Cabinet
Athle's collectible card layer, live for football, basketball and tennis. Win the daily puzzles to earn packs, open them to pull real player cards, then build a lineup whose rating climbs the better its chemistry. Here's the full breakdown.
Earning packs
Packs come from playing the games you already play. Solve the daily Guess, Grid, Bingo, Quiz and Chain, and each one hands you a Premium pack. All six run every day, so that is six a day, Lineup included. Lose one and you still get a Standard consolation pack, as long as you played it out. Practice rounds earn Standard packs too, capped at three per game, eighteen a day.
Premium packs are the only ones that can contain the rarest pulls. The Cabinet is live for all three sports.
There is a third kind. Finish the same game's daily seven days in a row, win or lose, both count, and you earn a Streak pack: a single card, guaranteed. In football that is a Legend, in tennis and basketball an Icon. It is the only pack that promises what is inside. It repeats every seven days you keep the run going.
Cards and rarities
Every pack contains three cards drawn from the same live player data the games use, banded by how popular the player is. Football and tennis span all four tiers, Bronze up through Silver and Gold to Icon. All three sports span all four tiers, and Bronze is the widest band in each. Icons are the top slice of a sport's roster and the rarest pull.
Pulling an Icon, or a football Legend, is a moment. The card gets a celebratory walkout with fireworks.
What a card's score actually means
A card's score (and the rarity it lands in) is not a form guide or a skill rating. It has nothing to do with current-season performance, and it is not trying to rank who is the best player. It is a popularity score: how recognizable that player is to a broad sports audience.
Popularity mixes notoriety with prime form. Notoriety is the lasting stuff: major trophies, iconic moments, how long someone has been a household name. Prime form is how good they were at their peak, not right now. So a past-their-prime veteran can outscore an in-form player who has not built the same reputation, and a rookie having a career year will not outrank an established name.
Legends and Coaches
โฝ football onlyBeyond the current-player cards, football adds two special collect-only sets that drop from Premium packs. Legends are retired all-time greats: you can both collect them and field them in your XI.
Coaches are managers, banded Legendary or Good rather than given a rating. A Coach takes the touchline manager slot next to your XI and raises your whole squad's chemistry, more so the higher their tier. Basketball and tennis are player cards only, with no Legends and no Coaches.
Build your lineup, chemistry and rating
Place cards from your Collection onto the pitch or court and your rating is the average of your starters, lifted by chemistry. Starters light up a link when they share a nationality, a league or a club. A shared club counts double. Tennis players have no clubs, so tennis uses a shared turned-pro era instead and its lineup is a fantasy squad. More links, higher rating. Playing a card out of its natural position (or, for tennis, dominant hand) docks its rating first. Chemistry and rating are both capped at 100.
Football
Starting XI, pick a formation (4-3-3 to 5-3-2), plus Legends and a Coach.
Basketball
Fixed five: two Guards, two Forwards, one Center. No formation to pick.

Tennis
Two doubles pairs, Serve/Volley/Serve/Volley: three Right-Handed, one Left-Handed.

Cabinet FAQ
How do I earn packs?
Solve a daily and you get a Premium pack. All six games run every day, so that is six a day. Lose one and you still get a Standard consolation pack, as long as you played it out: giving up earns nothing. Practice rounds give Standard packs too, capped at three per game, so eighteen a day. Only Premium packs hold the rarest pulls.
What is a Streak pack?
The reward for finishing the same game's daily seven days running. It holds one card and guarantees what it is: a Legend in football, an Icon in tennis and basketball. That is the only way to be certain of one. Wins and losses both keep a streak alive; only giving up or missing a day breaks it. Each game holds a separate streak per sport, sixteen runs in all.
What are Icons, Legends and Coaches?
Icons are a sport's most popular players and its rarest cards. Every sport with a Cabinet has them. Legends are retired all-time greats you can field in your lineup, and Coaches raise chemistry from the touchline slot. Both are football-only collect sets on top of the base pool.
How is my rating calculated?
It starts as the average of your starting lineup, then rises with chemistry. Starters light up a link when they share a nationality, a league or a club, and a shared club counts double. Tennis has no clubs, so it uses a shared turned-pro era. Football's Legends and Coach add more. Playing a card out of position docks its rating first. Chemistry and rating both cap at 100.
Which sports have a Cabinet?
Football, basketball and tennis. Open it from the menu in any game's top bar.
Is a card's score based on current form?
No. It is a popularity score: how recognisable a player is, not how well they are playing. It mixes notoriety, meaning trophies and iconic moments, with how good they were at their peak. So a retired great can outscore someone in form today who has not built the same reputation.
Where is my Cabinet saved? Can I lose it?
In this browser's local storage, one Cabinet per sport, which is what lets it open instantly with nothing to sign into. Without an account that is the only copy, so switching device or browser, using private mode, or clearing site data loses it for good. Create an account and a copy is kept for you, so logging in elsewhere brings your packs, cards and squad with you. It takes a name and a recovery code, no email.
